AI4S 2023

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a term used frequently nowadays, the impact on different areas is getting higher. AI is expected to affect positively in sustainability and its effects on achievement sustainable development goals (SDGs). However, to date, there is very few published studies systematically assessing the extent to which AI might impact all aspects of sustainable development.

AI holds great promise for building inclusive knowledge societies and helping countries reach their targets under the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development but it also poses acute ethical challenges. The current choices to develop a sustainable-development-friendly AI by 2030 have the potential to unlock benefits that could go far-beyond the SDGs within our century.Categorization of the SDGs (https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/)into the Society, Economy, and Environment groups.
